This cleaning card cleans the magnetic read heads, feed rollers and pathway to maintain consistent check reads. Dirt will build up within this narrow check feed pathway and keep the magnetic head from properly reading the magnetic ink account information on the bottom of the check. A regular preventive maintenance program will reduce errors significantly.
The Waffletechnology™ Check Reader Cleaning Card has the advantage of adding cleaning pressure to the read heads to remove stubborn debris. The cleaning waffles also expand to wipe the entire pathway clean which will keep the next check processed from moving dirt from one area of the MICR reader to the other.
